Membership Update:

The Valley of Boston has several committees of dedicated brethren that are always hard at work, either planning great events for our members, or working on how to increase our ranks. One of these dedicated groups is the Membership Committee, which is composed of several dedicated brethren. Over the past few months they have been busy building several new programs which they are now ready to share with all of us!

The Engagement Subcommittee has begun to pilot the Valley's Brother to Brother calling program.

Fall Reunion Namesake: Harvey J. Waugh

The Valley’s Fall Reunion is coming up in just a few weeks and is named in honor of our Grand Master, Most Worshipful Harvey J. Waugh. We have all seen Most Worshipful Waugh serve our fraternity diligently over the past three years. However, how many of us know the real history of our Grand Master?

Born in Winthrop, MA, Waugh was raised in Melrose and educated in the Melrose school system. He served in the United States Navy, being commissioned an Ensign in 1964. In 1968, his Masonic career began when he joined Wyoming Lodge in Melrose. He served as the Worshipful Master of the lodge in 1977-78.
