Kayaking on the Charles Was a Success!

On Saturday, July 22, members of the Valley of Boston and their families took a scenic trip down the Charles River and had the unique experience of seeing Boston from the a new angle! Starting in Allston, Massachusetts, the tour paddled past the Green Dome of MIT, the Charles River Esplanade, and took a look at the beautiful Boston Skyline. Members of the Valley who attended saw the Prudential Building, the State House Dome and the famous Citgo Sign from the comfort of their Kayak! After completing their sightseeing tour members of the Valley returned to dry land and enjoyed a box lunch provided by the tour company.

This kayaking and canoeing trip is just one of the many events the Valley does because of the hard work of the Family Life Committee. There are sure to be many more funfilled and exciting events in the future, so make sure to check the Valley website regularly!
